Tennessee

Last weekend Marie, The Boys and I left Friday for a weekend of shopping in Tennessee her cousin Jill was wonderful to have a house full for the weekend! In the town where Jill lives has a big consignment sale every year so of course we had to be there. Early shopping was Saturday so we went and loaded up. We both were on the search for jogging strollers we found them and then some. I still have no clue how we got back to Calera with everything we bought and our bags in my car we were literally packed in. We were suppose to take the boys to the aquarium Sunday but we were all wiped out and came on home Sunday morning. Did I mention how hard it is to chase a wild child in a house that has stairs and isn't child proof? Oh my is all I have to say. This past week Clay has been sick runny nose, cough etc. so Tuesday I took him on into see our wonderful doctor of course we came home with some meds due to a sinus infection and pink eye. Poor thing you could see in his eyes he hasn't felt good but it hasn't slowed him down much. He is feeling much better but now he has passed it on to his daddy and me but my immune system is still high because of me working in the daycare so that has helped me. This week will be busy as ever I am sure our best friends Bobby and Lea are in the process of moving to
Montgomery to start a new chapter in there lives so I am sure we will be having them over for dinner.I will post about them moving later and what wonderful friends they are. I am in the process of working on picture albums of Clay. When Clay was born I started out so good I made it till June and haven't printed a picture out since then.

Easter 2012

We couldn't have been thankful for such beautiful weather this weekend. We hit the ground running Sunday at 6:00 AM and didn't get home till 8:00 PM that means by the time we got home we had 3 WORN OUT people. We had a wonderful service at church and of course as always a delicious meal at Othermama and Andaddy's. Clay did ok hunting eggs he would pick one or two up shake them then throw them down. He was just more concerned about being outside running wild and free. These past few days I have enjoyed watching him turning out of the baby stage and into the toddler stage it's amazing how much over night he is changing. Here are a few pictures from this past weekend.

Easter Projects

Why in the world I do 5 million projects 2 days before a holiday it beats me. I always wait till the last second. After 2 trips to Walmart I am done except for making cupcakes for Selma tomorrow. All I can say is pinterest made me do it. I have made cross suckers out of jolly ranchers, goldfish carrots and clay a shirt to wear to the the Ellison Easter shindig. Now just cupcakes to go. I have to brag yet again on my sweetest and creative neighbors. When we got home yesterday our yard had been egged not literally they had hidden eggs all over our backyard for us to find. I can't believe Marie kept this from me I know it was killing her. We are off to spend the day at Paw Paw and Gammys then Poppy will be here to stay the night with us. Rick from the Rick and Bubba show will be giving his testimony at church in the morning we are super excited about hearing that. I have to be at church at 730 in the morning for nursery then we will go to 900 service then head to Selma for the afternoon with the Johnson clan. Have a wonderful and Happy Easter.

Easter Bunny

Thought I would share our recent trip to visit the Easter Bunny! Clay wasn't screaming which was great but he wouldn't smile!! We needed Mrs. Angela there!! Hard to believe last year when he had his picture taken with the Easter Bunny he was so small he got lost in his arms he was barely two months. Flash Foward one year and he's a ACTIVE 15 month old! Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!

Weekend Catch Up

This weekend is alway a stay at home weekend seeing as Jason always has to work the last Saturday of the month but Friday night he surprised me by just casually asking me what I had planned for Saturday I told him and he said well plan on me going also! I was shocked Jason has been at his job for almost 3 years and has ALWAYS worked the last Saturday of the month! Friday night Marie(Summer-I just call her Marie) and the boys loaded the Wagon up to head to Mt. Laurel for early shopping for the neighborhood yard sale by the time we got there and met up with JJ it was POURING!! No shopping for us but we made up for it by going out to eat:) Saturday we did yard work then JJ kept Clay while Marie and I headed to Kids Market for early shopping the best consignment sale in B-Ham by far! Both of us got some great things I even got Clay a sandbox! Sunday JJ went turkey hunting with Steven while Clay and I went to Lowes and went grocery shopping. We ended the wonderful weekend with eating supper with Jason's family and letting Clay play in the pool (just on the top step and its heated). Is it Monday already??? Here are a few picures of Clay from the weekend!
