Park Days!

In Calera there is one park right by our house we love but in the summer days it's in the direct HOT sun! We have found a wonderful park in Helena we are in LOVE with Joe Tucker Park it's so nice and shaded. Helena is about 15 mins away so it's not bad but hopefully before to much longer we will be able to call Helena home! We can put our house up for sale in November we want to move for school systems and closer to Jason's job. We love our house and our neighbors have become our closest friends it's hard to think about leaving them. If you live in the Birmingham area and have never been to Helena check it out! It's the neatest little town the downtown area reminds me do much of Selma with all the older buildings. Here are some pictures of our park visit! We did feed the ducks for about 2 seconds till Clay was pointing at them and one got his finger!

Happy Memorial Day!

We have had a great weekend Jason has worked all weekend except yesterday so we enjoyed him all day! Our neighborhood pool opened this weekend but we haven't even gone we went to Gammy and Paw-Paw's it's so much more relaxing there since Clay has toys there and can go in for nap time when he wants. Hopefully this week Clay and I are going to make a morning trip to the our pool before nap time. Jason has to work today so Clay and I are being lazy doing house work. I wish I was in Selma eating some of that delicious food with my family and hanging out by the pool. Here are some pictures from this weekend! I'll be back to write about our week during nap time.

Sickness and Graduation

I am so glad to have these past few days behind us I could literally jump for joy! Friday we had big plans of hitting the road to Selma bright and early Clay was going to spend time with my daddy while I helped Othermama do some things around town to get ready for Kelly and Katy's graduation. Well Clay woke up at 1:00 AM Friday morning crying and just wouldn't go back to sleep he was running a low grade fever but I thought maybe it was him teething. Finally after Tylenol he crashed about 4:45 only to be woken up at 6:15 to a whopping 103.5 fever! I freaked this is high as Clay has ever had a fever I was crying because other then putting him in the bathtub there was nothing else I could do because he had already had medicine. We headed to the Dr first thing Friday AM because Clay had been exposed to hands foot and mouth rash the first part of the week. The DR didn't see any signs of that and said it was just teething seeing as he has 2 molars coming in! He gave us the go ahead to head to Selma so we did I really didn't want to miss my little sister's graduation. Clay was wonderful Friday till later on he started feeling pretty rough JJ keep him while I went to graduation. Clay and I stayed in Selma Friday night to spend time
With my nana and daddy to my this story shorter we ended up in the ER in Prattville Saturday at 3:00 AM! At that time he only had the bumps in his mouth but by Sunday he had the full hands, foot and mouth all over:( Saturday we cooked out with Jason's family for a late mother's day and May birthdays then stayed with Jess and Scuba in their new house. Sunday they invited us to go to the Tannehill Trade Days I was really scared how Clay was going to do since he was sick but really that's the only thing that has relaxed him is to be outside! He did great he loved it!! I forgot sunscreen but thank gosh the AVON lady had a tent set up so that fixed that problem! I just have to take a few seconds to say how proud of Kelly my little sister and Katy my little cousin on graduating from high school Friday! I can't believe they are old enough to be going to college in the fall! Kelly will heading to AUM and Katy to Alabama we are so excited to see what God has planned for them! I don't have any pictures from graduation because Angela came and took those but here's a few from this weekend!

Precious Alert!

I know I have posted twice already today but I forgot to post these a few days ago! A few weeks ago my wonderful friend Angela took on the mission to take Clay and Lane's pictures in the pedal car I found at a thrift store a few months back. I was kinda scared how they would be. Just trying to get one to look at the camera is hard but to get two to look I was thinking holy moly on top of that both boys are walking and love to explore! Let's just say they did AMAZING I couldn't believe it! Here are 2 pictures for right now I'll share a few more later! These are 2 precious little boys that we are soaking up every moment of. Seems like just yesterday Summer and I both found out we were pregnant then to have boys 2 months apart! We joked when we were pregnant that we would look outside one day and the boys would be riding Ty and Harley (our dogs) across the backyard! Well I think those days are here or in the near future! Below is the link to Angela's Photography Page she does AMAZING work and I am so blessed to call her a friend! If you are in the Birmingham Area and need photos taken check AT Photography out!
