Blessings!
This is a little late then never but here is a catch up on August and September!
August was packed with fun times and there were so many things that made me thank God every chance I had for my family! Jason went out of town twice for week long business trips that would be the reason I am so behind on the blog. Jason is lucky to have a job that doesn't require travel except maybe once a year for 2-3 days I am thankful for that also because Clay and I both were not happy about him being gone. Clay started Mother's Day Out 2 days a week from 9-1 at our church. I hate leaving him but I know he needs to be around other kids at this age and it's crazy how much stuff I can get done in those few hours with my name being called 1,00 times! The first couple of weeks I would drop him off and come home I had no clue what to do with my "free" time. During the summer I hardly ever get free time with Jason working from daylight to dark so I am enjoying it now. I have been cleaning closets, cabinets and anything else that is impossible to do with Clay around. We have been blessed with a amazing teacher Miss Melanie to hear Clay say her name is priceless it's so cute! The first few weeks he would cry when I dropped him off but now he hugs and kisses me but he's ready to play with his friends. Usually the 1st thing he does is goes straight to Melanie and says paint that boy knows he loves to paint:) Clay moved to a big boy Sunday school classroom in August and let's just say the 1st Sunday we got a text from Allison the director saying Clay wasn't happy but it has gotten better.
Congrats to Daddy!
Our blog has gotten pushed to the back burner the past few months while we finished out summer and started fall. I thought this deserved a post on it's own!! Jason got a promotion at work back in August he is now the assistant manager at the Birmingham office. We are so proud of him and how hard he has worked to get where he is now. I am so blesses with such an amazing husband and wonderful father to Clay. I know God trutly has great things planned for our life as a family!
