Big Boy Room and Water!
We have made a huge change in our house!! Clay is now in a big boy bed and has a new room!! Clay had started waking up in the middle of the night around the same time every night. He's like a fish out of water at night so I got to thinking maybe it was because he was hitting the side of the crib because when we would go of town he would sleep in a big bed and would sleep 12 plus hours no problem! Sunday was the day Clay was with my mom so Jason's parents came and helped swap rooms since we put him in the guest room! This was a big thing that DaDa gave up his Bama room to Clay but it's no surprise he's crazy over Clay! The first night he fought a little going to sleep but has done great after that hasn't woke up once in the middle of the night and has slept late every morning!! When we go into check on him before we go to bed he's laid out! Water has been a must around here with all these hot days! We have spent may days in the water since Clay is obsessed with the water hose there's nothing better then a little boy with a hose pipe wetting his mommy;) I started writing this blog post last week and I never finished it Clay has been in his big boy bed going on 2 weeks now and is still doing great!!

Father's Day!
Last week was crazy with VBS I am so thankful for the time I had with the kids at church because a lot of them are hearing the word of God for the first time. On the other hand I am so thankful to be back on our normal routine this week! This past weekend we spent time with my Daddy for Father's Day. God has truly blessed me with the most amazing man for a Daddy and I love him to pieces! Clay is just a little crazy over him also that is so a under statement:) of course it made Daddy's weekend that Clay now calls him Pop short for Poppy! Next weekend we are heading to Prattvile to see PaPa Ray for a late Father's Day celebration! Ray should get a huge award for the being the most amazing stepdad in the world. When he married my mom he took on 2 daughters not having any kids of his own sometimes I wonder why the heck he didn't run;) he is truly a blessing to us and Clay loves him to pieces! I thank God for the 2 Dad's I have everyday! Here are a few pictures from this weekend! Hope everyone had a wonderful Father's Day now the count down for our beach trips begin!! 16 days left:)

VBS
Today started VBS at our church and it's amazing how much these little and big kids can soak in about 5 hours!!:) VBS is so different then it was when I was a youth helper. The ladies at Westwood have done a amazing job and I can't wait to see what the rest of the week holds for us! Today our story line was to trust God! Even as a adult I need to be reminded of this daily. I was so worried about Clay being in nursery for so long and it being in the middle of his nap time so I was thinking those ladies would be ready to hand him over as soon as I came around the corner. When I dropped him off he got down and played it helped that it was the same room he goes to every Sunday. When I got there he was standing at the door with Mr.Owl and these little RED sleepy eyes. Clay ended up having a great day he did get clinging towards the end because he was so sleepy. He was asleep before we even got out of the church parking lot. Please keep all the kid attending VBS in your prayers and the workers also:) Last week we had our 1st annual farmers market it will be every Tuesday till August! It was so fun all the fresh veggies and fruit you could think of! I could eat tomatoes everyday of the week so I love having the farmers market so close! Saturday I spent the day in T-Town shopping with my mama, Kelly, Amy, Alli, Meredith and Cole it was such a great day to just get out and be able to spend time with them! Clay had his first of many trips to Woods and Water he loved it! We went to the Shirt Shop which he slept through but still got his 1st T-Shirt from the Shirt Shop! I love going to Tuscaloosa it holds such a special place in our hearts since that was the first town Jason and I called home as a married couple!

Growing
The past few weeks Clay has changed so much each time I look at him he looks more like a toddler and not a baby! Clay is so independent I love he is but I wish it didn't happen so young. He's still Mommy's baby well until Daddy is around and it's all about him. He is still taking a bottle at nap and bedtime we have tried to give him a sippy cup with milk it but won't have anything to do with it he wants his BaBa! He will barely take a cup anymore he wants a juice box or either a cup with a straw. We are head to the Farmers Market after nap time today for some fresh veggies and fruit! I can't wait to see if Clay is going to love tomatoes like me;) We had a wonderful weekend relaxing and Jason built me a flower bed in the backyard I have been wanting!
