I don't know if it was just me or was Saturday the kind of weather (before it got hot) that made you want to open the windows, make lots of yummy dips and watch Alabama football??!! The weather was amazing early Saturday morning! This weekend we enjoyed a trip home to Selma it was a quick but busy trip! Friday night we enjoyed dinner with Gammy, PaPa, Aunt Jessie and Uncle Scuba at Buffalo Wild Wings! Saturday I was going as soon as my feet hit the floor between sewing and getting ready to head to Selma! Saturday we celebrated Granny Ellison's birthday with a family dinner and then I headed off to see Katy in JR. Miss while Clay and Daddy had some fun time! Junior Miss was amazing Katy did wonderful! She's turned into such a Beautiful girl and lives for the Lord she's truly amazing...Oh did I mention she got accepted to Alabama this week and we are so proud of her!!! Back to Junior Miss.. She placed FIRST..she got 2,000 cash scholarship for 1st she also won talent, grades, fitness and self expression which were 300.00 scholarships a piece!! Congrats Katy Bug!! Sunday was a wonderful day little Cole Benj. got baptized at Elkdale and we are so proud of him! I was really worried how Clay would do in the nursery since he's gotten attached to mommy and the people he sees on a regular basis but he had no problem leaving me (they said he was good while we were gone I hope so) and he was perfect when we picked him up! Sundays are just not the same without Othermama's Sunday lunch but this time we had KFC since we had so many people there to celebrate Cole's baptism. It was delish but Othermama's would have been alot better! This week I have lots of orders on my sewing to get out and then we are headed to Andalusia for a long relaxing weekend at my Nana's which will included laying around the pool and of course some shopping!!
A friend brought over some banana pudding when we cooked out with her the last time and I fell in love with it!! So I made for me and Jason last week then I made it for Granny's Birthday dinner! It's wonderful and EASY!! So I thought I would share it with y'all..

What we have been up to!
Let's just start off by saying little man is EVERYWHERE and into EVERYTHING!! He loves things he can't have! Sunday he got a visit from his Poppy and GIGI then went to MiMi and PaPa Ray's to spend the night. I never thought I would miss him SO much! I was miserable the whole time he was gone but it did give me and Jason time together. This week we have been looking for Clay a big boy carseat because he screams every time we would put him in his infant carseat he likes to be able to see out. So finally after looking and reading reviews we have a carseat!!! It's so much easy to get in the car unlike that gosh awful base! Clay loves it! I have been busy who knew opening a facebook group for my sewing would get busy within a week but boy have I been busy and I am loving it! This weekend we are heading to Selma for Junior Miss and Cole is getting baptised Sunday. We are looking forward to some fall weather and football season...ROLL TIDE!!!!!

What we have been up!
We had a busy week! On August 11th Jason and I have been together for 7 years (Dated for 2 1/2 years, Engaged for 2 years and married for 2 1/2 years)! It doesn't seem like it! We have lived in 4 different towns(Selma, Tuscaloosa, Birmingham and Finally Calera) and moved ummm lets see about 6 times between moving apartments in Tuscaloosa! I don't see a move in our lives anytime soon! Everytime we mention selling our house to get in a better school district for Clay we get sick because we know how much JUNK is in our attic plus we never knew how much stuff we had till we moved now with Clay and all his stuff!! This weekend we had a baby shower in Selma for Kate and Baby Hudson then MiMi, PaPa Ray and Aunt Kelly spent the night! Sunday we had our usually family dinner at Mom and Dad Ellison's house we ate so much I don't think we will be hungry till tomorrow! We had a huge milestone last night Clay slept in his bed all night!!!! Usually for the past few weeks he has been going to bed in there waking up at 2 or 3 to eat then I'll put him in his pack and play next to me in our room. Jason has been all over me to let him sleep in his own room since he was two months old and I just couldn't do it. His room is all the way across the house and of course as a mom EVERY bad thought crossed my mind such as what if the house caught on fire. I was thinking of everything to tell Jason so he wouldn't make him sleep in there! I even told Jason that we need to put a stick in the flower bed by his window to break his window if we need to get to him..HAHA I know I am crazy I never thought about his room being across the house till after he was born! We will never have a house with split floor plan again! This week hopefully will be a relaxing one for Clay and I lots of Mickey Mouse and just playing now that he is crawling..not really but he can get across the room in matter of seconds! Monday's are always hard for us since Jason has to go back to work we love having him on the weekends even thought most of the time he's cutting grass on the side but just a few more months and we will have him all to ourself!!! This weekend my 2 BESTFRIENDS from highschool are coming and I am so excited! Le-Ah(Lisa) has seen Clay several times but Amber hasn't seen him at all and I am so stinking excited for her to get to see him! It has been atleast 2 years since we were all three together we always have so much fun together!

Lazy Sunday
I LOVE Sundays we spend most of them just being lazy MOST of the time! Today was a great day to be lazy since we had such a busy weekend. Saturday we spent the day in Tuscaloosa for Aunt Jessie's graduation from Alabama and Clay's 1st trip to T-Town! This was our 1st trip to Tuscaloosa since April 27th and I NEVER thought it would be as bad as it really is. Tuscaloosa will always hold a special place in our hearts since it was our home away from home for almost 3 years and the 1st place we lived as a married couple. Clay did great through the first twenty minutes of graduation and then we had to watch the rest from the walkway:) but we got to see Aunt Jessie walk across the stage! Today Jason had 3 yards to cut so it was just me and Clay plus the mess of our house! Clay took a 3 1/2 hour nap today and I cleaned the whole house followed by a wonderful supper of meatloaf, potatoes and mac cheese.

HOT Summer Days!!
These summer months have flown by but the cooler days can't get here fast enough! The month of July was crazy busy with birthdays! So we spent alot of time on the road. This past weekend we went to Jason's aunt and uncle's place on the river for his cousin's little girl's 1st birthday. We hd a great time it's been along time since we were all together so it was nice to spend time with them! Hopefully with everyone's crazy schedule's we can do it again soon! Adalyn and Clay were precious together! We are looking foward to a nice relaxing month of August because before we know it the HOLIDAYS will be here! I have been saying that I was going to start my Christmas shopping early since we have Clay this year so we wouldn't be hit all at one time but I haven't bought a thing! There's so much I want to get the little growing man I don't know where to start! Clay is growing like a weed last time he was weighed about a week ago he was 15 pounds and 3 Ounces he has almost tripled his birth weight! We have started giving him a sippy cup and little finger snacks which he loves! I think if we let him eat what we eat he would because he stares you down when we are eating. Clay is his daddy's child in so many way's being hyper for one thing we joke he will not walk he's going to run and he hates to miss anything so I have my work cut out for me! Today Clay is 7 months old and I am in shock it seems like he was just born! I am working on planning his 1st birthday party since it's right after Christmas and it will sneak up on us so I am working on things! Thanks to Aunt Jess and Angie King they have given me wonderful ideas! I have a date and theme that's about it for now but it will come together!

Beach Bums
The month of June flew by with 2 beach trip's almost back to back we turned into complete beach bums! I am so glad that Clay didn't scream at the thought of sand on him because I hated it when I was little and still isn't my favorite thing but I am getting better. We went to Gulf Shores for the first beach trip with Jason's family while we were there we ate wonderful food finished off by a family dinner at the Crab Trap which was also a little celebration for Aunt Jessie's graduation from Alabama! Ever since me and Jason started dating we have always loved to drive down along the beach in Gulf Shores and see all the new condo's so of course we did that Clay took his nap during this but we look foward to sharing this fun time with him when he get's older! The Second beach trip was to Destin, FL with my family as most of you know my famiy is HUGE and yes we were all under one roof except for the Anderson's and we all had a blast! Clay did a little better on the beach this time the first beach trip he was just getting over a ear infection so we didn't keep him out there for long periods of time. In Destin we enjoyed good food..of course we were with my favorite cook my grandmother:) Everyone enjoyed the time with Clay and I loved having so many sets of hands! We are finally done with beach trips for right now and have gotten settled back down at home. Now we are just enjoying being home. The Month of July is busy with birthdays for my family so we will have a few trips to Selma I look foward to going "home" for those weekend visit's. July 4th was a hot but great holiday Sunday we celebrated with Jason's family and went to Selma Monday for Andaddy's famous meat and BBQ sauce. I must saw it was hard to keep our eye's open all the way home after that delicious meal!

So Much...
WOW!! So much has been going on since March we started off with Clay's first beach trip, wedding showers then April we had Easter, Jess and Scuba's wedding it's been a busy Spring!!! May we had a few relaxing weekends but not many. In May we started a new chapter in our lives we have been blessed beyond words so that I could quit my job and stay at home with Clay let me tell it's the most rewarding thing I have done in my life. I have been home with him for almost a month and it has flown by but also given me a chance to see every little thing he does during the day. On Monday's I babysit Lane he lives next door to us and is 2 months younger then Clay PRECIOUS might I add it makes me miss Clay's little days he can do so much now. We have been blessed to have such wonderful next door neighbors we love them so much and can't wait for our two little one's to be running around together. We have a busy summer coming up between beach trips with both our families, brithdays and camping trips I feel like Christmas is going to be here before long! We are headed South tomorrow and we can't wait to have our feet in the sand!
