DECEMBER..REALLY???
Wow how the month of November flew by! Clay's first Thanksgiving was great and we had so much to be thankful for this year as we do every year! We have a WALKER in the house I don't know where the time has gone but I can't believe I am planning his 1st birthday party in less then a month! We are super excited that Christmas is in 18 days and can't wait to see one little boys face Christmas morning! This weekend we are heading to Valley, AL to have our family Christmas with my grandmother's sister Aunt Sue and her family. Its a tradition we do it the 2nd weekend in December every year so I am excited that this is Clay's first year! Valley always has a Merry-Go-Round that they have had for years I grew up going so I am happy we are getting to start the same thing with Clay! After alot of talking Jason finally gave in and let me put my Christmas tree up the weekend before Thanksgiving after he realized we wouldn't have a chance to do it before Christmas! Clay loves it and he has torn it apart! I am almost done with Christmas shopping still have a few more things to buy for other people...NOT Clay he has so much stuff he's getting plus having a birthday less then 2 weeks after Christmas! I am freaking out because where are we going to put all the presents we are going to need a bigger house!
Here are a few pictures from November and December:)

Goodbye Summer and Hello Fall!!
I have slacked on the blog in the past few months no excuses but we have been busy! Clay has started pulling up on everything and can crawl through the house in a matter of seconds! We are waiting for the day he starts walking he's barely holding on to anything now but still hasn't let go all the way! I am in shock still that the holidays are here! Every place in Birmingham already has Christmas things out so of course that puts me in the mood to put my tree up and shop! I guess I will wait till Thanksgiving! October has been crazy busy and has flown by! I had a weekend in ATL with sister, cousins and aunt for the Taylor Swift concert and I must say it was a very good concert, Jason was on vacation , Family pictures, Alabama's Homecoming, Shrimp Fest in Gulf Shores, Jason had a business trip, Jason's Birthday and now Halloween! I wish there were more hours in the day!!! I have gone back to work 3 days a week from 9-3 it is so hard but knowing that Clay is in great hands and not with someone I don't know helps! He stays with Gammy and Paw-Paw so of course he play's hard the whole time! He's changing so much everyday! On his 9 month check-up he was 17.6 pounds and 29 1/2 inches long he's eating table foods and we are working on the sippy cup let's just say he will take it from his DaDa but not Mama:) Oh did I mention he now says DaDa all the time of course I come back with MaMa but it doesn't work! Aunt Summer is having a Halloween party today for the babies so we are resting up for it today! Then next week Clay will be with Papa Ray and MiMi while Me, Jason and one of Jason's friends head to ATL for a little late 25th birthday trip:)

Looking Foward To Football Saturdays!!
I don't know if it was just me or was Saturday the kind of weather (before it got hot) that made you want to open the windows, make lots of yummy dips and watch Alabama football??!! The weather was amazing early Saturday morning! This weekend we enjoyed a trip home to Selma it was a quick but busy trip! Friday night we enjoyed dinner with Gammy, PaPa, Aunt Jessie and Uncle Scuba at Buffalo Wild Wings! Saturday I was going as soon as my feet hit the floor between sewing and getting ready to head to Selma! Saturday we celebrated Granny Ellison's birthday with a family dinner and then I headed off to see Katy in JR. Miss while Clay and Daddy had some fun time! Junior Miss was amazing Katy did wonderful! She's turned into such a Beautiful girl and lives for the Lord she's truly amazing...Oh did I mention she got accepted to Alabama this week and we are so proud of her!!! Back to Junior Miss.. She placed FIRST..she got 2,000 cash scholarship for 1st she also won talent, grades, fitness and self expression which were 300.00 scholarships a piece!! Congrats Katy Bug!! Sunday was a wonderful day little Cole Benj. got baptized at Elkdale and we are so proud of him! I was really worried how Clay would do in the nursery since he's gotten attached to mommy and the people he sees on a regular basis but he had no problem leaving me (they said he was good while we were gone I hope so) and he was perfect when we picked him up! Sundays are just not the same without Othermama's Sunday lunch but this time we had KFC since we had so many people there to celebrate Cole's baptism. It was delish but Othermama's would have been alot better! This week I have lots of orders on my sewing to get out and then we are headed to Andalusia for a long relaxing weekend at my Nana's which will included laying around the pool and of course some shopping!!
A friend brought over some banana pudding when we cooked out with her the last time and I fell in love with it!! So I made for me and Jason last week then I made it for Granny's Birthday dinner! It's wonderful and EASY!! So I thought I would share it with y'all..

What we have been up to!
Let's just start off by saying little man is EVERYWHERE and into EVERYTHING!! He loves things he can't have! Sunday he got a visit from his Poppy and GIGI then went to MiMi and PaPa Ray's to spend the night. I never thought I would miss him SO much! I was miserable the whole time he was gone but it did give me and Jason time together. This week we have been looking for Clay a big boy carseat because he screams every time we would put him in his infant carseat he likes to be able to see out. So finally after looking and reading reviews we have a carseat!!! It's so much easy to get in the car unlike that gosh awful base! Clay loves it! I have been busy who knew opening a facebook group for my sewing would get busy within a week but boy have I been busy and I am loving it! This weekend we are heading to Selma for Junior Miss and Cole is getting baptised Sunday. We are looking forward to some fall weather and football season...ROLL TIDE!!!!!

What we have been up!
We had a busy week! On August 11th Jason and I have been together for 7 years (Dated for 2 1/2 years, Engaged for 2 years and married for 2 1/2 years)! It doesn't seem like it! We have lived in 4 different towns(Selma, Tuscaloosa, Birmingham and Finally Calera) and moved ummm lets see about 6 times between moving apartments in Tuscaloosa! I don't see a move in our lives anytime soon! Everytime we mention selling our house to get in a better school district for Clay we get sick because we know how much JUNK is in our attic plus we never knew how much stuff we had till we moved now with Clay and all his stuff!! This weekend we had a baby shower in Selma for Kate and Baby Hudson then MiMi, PaPa Ray and Aunt Kelly spent the night! Sunday we had our usually family dinner at Mom and Dad Ellison's house we ate so much I don't think we will be hungry till tomorrow! We had a huge milestone last night Clay slept in his bed all night!!!! Usually for the past few weeks he has been going to bed in there waking up at 2 or 3 to eat then I'll put him in his pack and play next to me in our room. Jason has been all over me to let him sleep in his own room since he was two months old and I just couldn't do it. His room is all the way across the house and of course as a mom EVERY bad thought crossed my mind such as what if the house caught on fire. I was thinking of everything to tell Jason so he wouldn't make him sleep in there! I even told Jason that we need to put a stick in the flower bed by his window to break his window if we need to get to him..HAHA I know I am crazy I never thought about his room being across the house till after he was born! We will never have a house with split floor plan again! This week hopefully will be a relaxing one for Clay and I lots of Mickey Mouse and just playing now that he is crawling..not really but he can get across the room in matter of seconds! Monday's are always hard for us since Jason has to go back to work we love having him on the weekends even thought most of the time he's cutting grass on the side but just a few more months and we will have him all to ourself!!! This weekend my 2 BESTFRIENDS from highschool are coming and I am so excited! Le-Ah(Lisa) has seen Clay several times but Amber hasn't seen him at all and I am so stinking excited for her to get to see him! It has been atleast 2 years since we were all three together we always have so much fun together!

Lazy Sunday
I LOVE Sundays we spend most of them just being lazy MOST of the time! Today was a great day to be lazy since we had such a busy weekend. Saturday we spent the day in Tuscaloosa for Aunt Jessie's graduation from Alabama and Clay's 1st trip to T-Town! This was our 1st trip to Tuscaloosa since April 27th and I NEVER thought it would be as bad as it really is. Tuscaloosa will always hold a special place in our hearts since it was our home away from home for almost 3 years and the 1st place we lived as a married couple. Clay did great through the first twenty minutes of graduation and then we had to watch the rest from the walkway:) but we got to see Aunt Jessie walk across the stage! Today Jason had 3 yards to cut so it was just me and Clay plus the mess of our house! Clay took a 3 1/2 hour nap today and I cleaned the whole house followed by a wonderful supper of meatloaf, potatoes and mac cheese.
