Catch Up!

I started this blog in October when I was on bedrest as most of you know I had some complications with my pregnancy. Now that the long hospital stay is over when I mean long I mean 28 days! I was admitted on November 22, 2010 and was released on December 19, 2010 I begged my doctor to let me come home for Christmas and I got to just a couple of days before on STRICT bedrest! Thanks to my mom she finished getting my house ready for Christmas it was ready when we got home! The hardest part about Christmas was not being able to go to Selma to celebrate with my family but thankful my Mom, Ray and Kelly were here Christmas Day then we did Christmas with Jason's family later on Christmas morning. Christmas Eve my daddy and Gina came to see us and thanks to my mom, Othermama and  Jason's mom they fixed a Christmas Eve lunch for us to eat! The rest of my family came the day after Christmas they were so excited because it was snowing here! Cole bless his heart and oh Ray had fun sliding down our hill in our back yard. This Christmas was just a hard one between not doing what we did every year Jason was sick as could be bless his heart he stuck it out and tried to make the best of it....One doctor visit later, 3 different types of meds, a shot and 125.00 later he finally started feeling better!  FAST FOWARD to January 3, 2011 Jason was off since the 1st fell on a Saturday he was off so the day before he was busy doing everything I ask him just in case Clay decided to come! January 3....  I had a weekly doctor's appt she sent me to labor and delivery around lunch on the 3rd to monitor me. She keep me overnight and came in the next morning at 630 and told us that Clay would be making his debut sometime that day! So it all started I was calling everyone and Jason I think was in shock that Clay would be here in a couple of hours! Clay was born at 10:35 AM and weighed 5 Pounds 8 Ounces he was 18 1/2 inches long...JUST PERFECT!!! Clay was born at 36 weeks so we weren't sure if he would be going to the NICU or not all we can say is that God certainly answered our prayers because Clay never had to go to the NICU!!!!! Clay had janudice so we were sent home on a photolight it was the hardest thing because we couldn't hold him only when we had to change him or feed him. He dropped his weight to 4 pounds 15 Ounces but has gained it all back now he is starting to get meat on his bones now at 9 pounds 1 ounces!!! OH! Did I mention that we had a ton of newborn clothes and diapers but we didn't have a single thing preemie so thankful for our moms they had to go out and buy preemie diapers and clothes!! I really dont know what I would do with out both of them!! I thank God for them everyday!! Clay will be ten weeks old Tuesday and I started back to work last Tuesday it was awful last week I had the worse time leaving him even though he's only 2 doors down from me and I can check on him anytime it's still different! So now my nights are spent washing and making bottles and getting ready for the next work day! It has been a shock seeing as Ive been off work since September!! I think I have everyone caught up now!
