Sweet Spring..Wait I mean Sweet Summer Time!
I thought May was still a month of Spring weather but I think this year we skipped Spring and went straight to Summer! This past week here it's been so HOT! We haven't been able to play outside till later on in the afternoon because of it unless we are in water then we are good. This week was my first week back as full-time stay at home mom and we have had our ups and downs just because Clay was so use to his schedule trying to change it has become a bit of a process but we are getting there! Paw-Paw and Gammy have spoiled him ROTTEN I am very thankful for that but Mommy and Daddy can't spoil like grandparents with that being said we have seen Clay throw more fits in the past week then we ever have. Jason usually dropped him off the 3 days I worked so when he sees Daddy leaving in the morning he gets confused thinking he is going that has gotten better this week. We have filled our week with pool time, crafts, running errands, and playing outside. Hopefully with this rain we had last night and today it will cool things off just a little so we can be outside more often during the day. I got confused on Clay's 15 month check up so we missed it I was so upset but I always put them on the calendar but I wrote it down wrong I think I was more worried because we were already a month late on shots and it would be a month or so before we could get in for a well check-up. Thankfully the sweet girl that I talked to got us in at the end of the month so we didn't have to wait any longer. I have to take a few to brag on my wonderful husband! Jason never gets the praise he should because we are always so wrapped up in Clay that when we do get quite time we are so busy filling each other in on things that I never praise him for everything he does! As many of you know Jason has been cutting grass since he was 12 or so when he moved to college he started cutting a few yards to earn extra money then when we moved to Birmingham we knew only a handful of people. Jason worked so hard to pick up a few yards to earn extra money in the spring and summer for things we wanted to do 2 1/2 years later he has over 20 yards and is having to turn people away because he can't handle them all! This is such a blessing to us to have the extra money but has also put the stress of Jason being gone more seeing as he also works a full time job during the week so the weekend is really the only time he has to cut grass he is working on hiring someone to help him that way he can still have the extra money but will also have more family time. I asked him before this summer if he was going to keep cutting grass and he looked at me like I had four heads! I honestly don't think Jason could ever not be doing something! Jason works so hard to provide for Clay and I in so many ways that he will never know how thankful I am of him even when I tell him daily! In the past almost 9 years we have been together he has made we so proud and it' a honor to call him my HUSBAND! I love him dearly and Clay worships the ground he walks on they are so much alike in so many ways it's almost scary:) This weekend Aunt Jessie and Uncle Scuba will be moving to thier new house this is such a exciting time for them but it's a sad time for us they have lived so close for the past year it's going to be so different with them being almost a hour away. I know we will get use to them not being there and we are so happy for them! Now its time for Aunt Jessie and Uncle Scuba to add a Baby to our family!:)
